  • The Cleveland Cavilers beat the Golden State Warriors, 93-89, in Game 7 of the NBA Finals to win the series. Lebron James led the Cavs with 27 points, 11 assists and three blocks. He was also named Finals MVP as he led nearly every statistical category throughout the entire series. Draymond Green led the Warriors with 32 points. Stephen Curry finished the game with 17 points. James finally brought a title to Cleveland as he promised. This championship ended a 51-year title drought for Cleveland.

  • Childish Gambino's mysterious app hinted that he may release an album in September. It's believed that Childish Gambino will premiere a new album, which is rumored to be titled "Pharos," at a live event in Joshua Tree, California.

  • Beyoncé released the standalone video for "Sorry." It happens to just be a clip from the short film, "LEMONADE."
  • HBO revealed its plan to cancel the series, "Vinyl."
  • 20th Century FOX released the trailer for "Keeping Up With the Joneses."
  • Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose was traded to the New York Knicks.
  • The NHL announced its plans to expand a franchise to Las Vegas. It will be the first major sports team in Las Vegas.
Thursday, June 23, 2016
  • Atlantic Records released the single, "Sucker For Pain," from the "Suicide Squad" soundtrack. The song features Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign and X Ambassadors.
  • PARTYNEXTDOOR released his music video for "Come and See Me." The video features Kylie Jenner. 
  • Schoolboy Q revealed the tracklist for his upcoming album, "Blank Face LP." The album's release date is set for July 8.

  • Kanye West premiered his video for "Famous." It included naked images of Bill Cosby, Caitlyn Jenner, Amber Rose, Ray J, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Donald Trump and George Bush. Kanye said it's a message about fame.

  • XXL released its 2016 Freshman List cover. It featured Lil Yachty, Desiigner, Dave East, Denzel Curry, G Herbo, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Dicky, Anderson .Paak, 21 Savage and Kodak Black.

  • The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors, 112-97, in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Lebron James and Kyrie Irving both led the Cavs and finished the game with 41 points. Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 37 points. Stephen Curry finished the game with 25 points and seven rebounds. 
  • EA Sports released the trailer for Madden 17. 
  •  Nickelodeon announced the title for the upcoming “Hey Arnold” TV movie, which is “Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie.” The two-hour show will air in 2017. It's set to pick up where the original series left off in 2004. It will resolve unanswered questions and plot lines, including Arnold finally getting answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents.
  • Logic released his highly anticipated "Flexicution" single. He has yet to announce if it will be a single for an upcoming album. 
  • Snoop Dogg revealed the cover art for his upcoming album, "Cool Aid."
  • Dizzy Wright released the cover art for his "702 EP." It's due to drop on July 2.
Tuesday, June 14, 2016
  • Kanye West announced the "Saint Pablo Tour." He will be traveling across the United States to perform. This will be his first tour since his "Yeezus Tour" in 2013.
  • HBO announced "Curb Your Enthusiasm" will return for its ninth season. A release date has yet to be announced.
  • Donald Glover/Childish Gambino joined the cast of "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Details about his role have yet to come out. 
  • Schoolboy Q revealed the title for his upcoming album will be, "Blank Face LP." He trolled the Internet when he hinted his cover art would include meme-inspired art including Crying Michael Jordan and Donald Trump both with their faces blanked out. The "Blank Face LP" will come out July 8.

  • The first teaser for the upcoming Tupac biopic, "All Eyez On Me," was released. 
  • The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors, 115-101, in Game 6 of the NBA Finals to force a Game 7. Lebron James led the Cavs with 41 points and 11 assists. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 30 points. He got ejected for the first time in his career.
