- Reports surfaced that Logic's upcoming album will be titled, "AfricAryaN." He has said the album will touch on his biracial roots.

- D.R.A.M. reveals the title and release date for his upcoming album. It will be called "Big Baby D.R.A.M." and will be out on October 21.
- Fox Searchlight released the teaser trailer for the upcoming movie, "Jackie." The film is a biopic about the former first lady, Jackie Kennedy, and it will star Natalie Portman.
- CBS Films released the trailer for the upcoming movie, "Patriots Day." The film will be about the Boston Marathon bombing, and it will star Mark Wahlberg.
- The San Francisco Giants beat the New York Mets, 3-0, in the National League Wild Card game.
